From 9 to 14 April, the Training of Trainers (ToT) in the form of Experts Working Group gathers 15 participants from Italy, Austria, Latvia, Jordan and Tunisia, each 3 participants. The aim of the ToT is develop a competence framework that will cover the five key areas of protection and eight KC for lifelong learning and innovative educational approaches identified. It will also identify a set of learning outcomes, concurring with the achievement of long-term behavioural change.
The ToT also serves as a platform to:
– Inspire actionable insights, foster innovative thinking, and create a platform for strategic action tailored to environmental challenges.
– Obtain cutting-edge knowledge and also the practical skills and competences to implement real-world change through educational initiatives such as living labs.
The sub-objectives include:
– Identify the current state and potential hotspots for improvement in terms of:
-targeted AoP, – targeted KC for lifelong learning and other intra and interpersonal competences, – targeted key educational approaches and teaching methodologies, – targeted learning objectives and key learning outcomes, coordinating efforts with s KPIs.
– Carrying out a critical analysis of the new competence framework to support learning for environmental sustainability “Green Comp” and building on the review of national education policies on environmental awareness, CC, and SD.
– Elaborate a participatory methodology document aimed at engaging young citizens and stakeholders.
– Draft Guidelines and recommendations to set up LLs and prepare a list of potential activities to be implemented locally.
