What is a Living Lab?
A Living Lab is an innovative concept that creates interactive settings where communities, educators, and stakeholders collaborate to develop, test, and refine solutions to complex challenges. These labs are dynamic spaces that foster creativity and co-creation, allowing participants to engage directly with new tools & strategies in authentic contexts. By integrating the perspectives of diverse groups, Living Labs enhance the relevance and applicability of their outcomes and promote the adoption of sustainable practices through hands-on involvement and real-time feedback.
LLs Objectives
Foster Innovation: Encourage the development and testing of new ideas, tools, and methods in real-life settings to address climate change and sustainability challenges.
Promote Collaboration: Facilitate partnerships between academia, industry, government, and communities to leverage diverse expertise and resources.
Engage Communities: Actively involve local communities, including vulnerable groups, in co-creating solutions that are directly relevant and beneficial to them.
